Good Evening peeps……

4/4/2019 #16

I was watching a series last night about couples fighting for a divorce who have a teenage boy. So the story goes like this.

They had partitioned their house both leaving different sides of the house with electric boundary in the house where any partner crosses the other partner’s side the alarm goes on.

They were fighting a dirty battle and the only people benefiting from this were the lawyers and they neglected their son completely…. Let’s not continue the story as the ending was not a benefiting one.

I realized we as parents don’t realize what would trigger depression among young kids.

Today’s world has become so busy that we do not focus on our families but a lot on work and social life. This creates loneliness among individuals in the family and can cause the younger generation to move around with the wrong crowd and also get addicted to drugs and alcohol where they find comfort.

For some parents, responsibility means giving them money and gadgets to keep them busy. Which is not enough using a lot of gadgets can be a serious issue to the teenage especially, other reasons are at the school where Teachers negligence on bullying which passes another level where a child just decides to end his or her life.

In adults, we have a lot of competition and one cannot keep up with it and things like body shaming, bullying, running a rat race in the corporate world. I feel the competition needs to be eliminated from life then we would respect each other rather than competing with someone and losing what’s more important in life till we come to realize it too late to change.

Parents need to sit once in a day with their children and just talk to them on how their day went, who their friends are and how they spend their free time or where they spent their pocket money.

Depression drains your energy, hope, and drive, making it difficult to do what you need to feel better. But while overcoming depression isn’t quick or easy, it’s far from impossible.

Too many people are made to feel ashamed by sharing their story, you can help by talking to people going through depression or mental illness and by doing that you could save somebody life.

Depression is not fun, it’s not a game, and it’s not a quirk to add to your personality because you think it’s cool. Depression is serious and ugly and affects so many people. Depression doesn’t just disappear, you don’t suddenly wake up and decide not to feel hopeless.

It’s okay to cry. It’s okay to be weak. You’re not bulletproof, you’re human. You’re capable of getting hurt. Feel the emptiness…everyone does whether they admit it or not.

I have realized some people will never admit they need help and they do but they will always think it will be over which makes it worse. Learn to admit and get support to talk to your friends talk to your parents and let depression not ruin or kill anyone let’s all be there for one another
